Mikayla has gone to stay with her Gran and Boo for a few days. We miss her, of course, but I think Gavin is enjoying his alone time!

He was pulling every thing out of every cabinet and drawer while Momma was baking some cookies.

Wednesday night the Kids and I went to Preslie's birthday party. Kaylie was having a blast playing with the other children and toys, and getting into all the food. But, then a three-year old little boy, Cameren, showed up. As soon as they saw each other it was like a magnet! The first thing they did was kiss, then for the rest of the night they were inseperable! At the end of the night Kaylie had put on some princess jewelry, and when Cameren went to give her a goodbye hug he said "you look pretty". It was so cute to watch them giggle and play all night. Even hiding behind Preslie's crib to hug! There are plenty of pictures of them together in the August 2008 picasa album.

There is discipline in A Soldier

you can see it when he walks,

There is honor in A Soldier

you hear it when he talks.

an 8 hour day or a 40 hour week,

even while he sleeps.

A Soldier serves his country first

and his life is left behind,

A Soldier has to sacrifice what

comes first in a civilian's mind.

next time you see A Soldier

remember what they do.

A Soldier is the reason

A Soldier is the one that is brave

protecting you and me.
